Joseph Dailey : Singer-Songwriter with Southern Roots & West Coast Soul
Heartfelt songs. Honest storytelling. Acoustic soul from East Texas to Los Angeles.
Joseph Dailey is a singer-songwriter originally from Silsbee, Texas, now based in Los Angeles. His music blends Americana, folk, and indie acoustic influences, shaped by years in Austin’s legendary music scene and inspired by the wide-open emotional spaces of modern storytelling. Currently focused on releasing new solo material and sharing intimate live performances, Joseph’s songs combine poetic lyricism with the raw sincerity of lived experience.
Joseph’s path as an artist started in the piney woods of East Texas, where he wrote songs in high school and cut his teeth performing at local open mics. He built his voice and following in Austin, playing renowned venues like the Cactus Café and Saxon Pub. His songwriting earned him a spot at the Kerrville Folk Festival and the honor of representing UT Austin at The MusicFest in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. From 2016 to 2018, Joseph fronted Warren Moon, an indie dance-rock band known for their psychedelic edge and joyful, high-energy shows across Central Texas.
What sets Joseph apart is his ability to connect through song—balancing vulnerability with craft, and reflection with rhythm. Whether it’s a hushed acoustic ballad or a full-band performance, his music leaves room for listeners to see themselves in the story. Now based in LA since 2022, Joseph is stepping into a new creative chapter—writing music, playing shows, and inviting listeners to come along.
